COMMON AUTO AC PROBLEMS

First, choose the type of tire you need for your driving habits:
If the air conditioning is blowing warm air or weak cool air, your auto AC may have a refrigerant leak. Other possible issues include a blocked condenser, blocked metering device or malfunctioning compressor.
Sometimes referred to as performance tires, summer tires do not do well in inclement weather. They offer maximum grip in warm, dry conditions.
These are best for those who drive in various weather conditions but are not the best for off-road driving unless the roads are well-maintained gravel roads.

AUTO AC REPAIR SERVICES

When some components of the steering & suspension are worn, they can cause damage to other components, especially the tires. Issues include:

REFRIGERANT LEAKS

We have leak detectors and other equipment to locate and repair refrigerant leaks.

COMPRESSORS

In many cases, the compressor fails, but in some, only the clutch fails. However, we recommend replacing the entire compressor except in certain situations because the compressor is a wear-and-tear item. If the clutch fails, the bearings and other parts of the compressor won’t be far behind it.

Each time we open the system, we must replace the accumulator or drier as it becomes contaminated as soon as we open the system to the atmosphere. The make and model determines whether you have an accumulator or drier. They both perform the same function of wicking moisture out of the refrigerant. The difference is that one removes moisture before the refrigerant goes through the evaporator, and the other removes moisture after the refrigerant goes through the evaporator.

We must also replace the metering device every time we open the system to the atmosphere. Depending on your vehicle, it may have an expansion block or an orifice tube.
